I've used Gillmans in Tooting twice this year. One was a cremation and other more recently a burial. Both occasions my loved ones passed away out of hours, 24/7 service so no bother with collection. I've nothing but huge praise to each and every member of the team. At such a difficult and highly emotional time they really make the process easy and painless. Nothing is too much bother, no strict deadlines to adhere too. "No problem, we'll sort that, don't you worry" said many times. We did our booklets through them, flowers ordered next door simple.
Must mention Steph in the office thank you for everything, you are great at what you do. The two gentlemen who collected my mother from my home showed such compassion and respect it meant so much, we knew she was in good hands. Finally the pallbearers each and everyone were incredible on the day. Thank you all once again from all of the Lynch family

Bella was absolutely wonderful! We cannot thank her enough for her help, care and empathy when we needed to organise Den's funeral! Nothing was too much trouble! She went above and beyond - for which we are truly thankful! Indeed - all the staff at Gillmans were great!

Steph was absolutely amazing from the very first day I visited. She made an incredibly stressful and emotional experience much more bearable, and I’m so grateful to have had her support throughout. No question was ever left unanswered, and she guided me through every step with kindness, compassion, and professionalism during one of the most difficult times of my life.

From the initial meeting through the preparations, the day of the funeral and beyond, Godfrey and Gillman were very professional, while also being kind and approachable. We felt safe in their hands. They made the whole process feel as smooth as possible and accommodated any personal requests we needed. This allowed us to make a very heartfelt goodbye for our mother that captured her personality, all the while allowing us to feel supported throughout the whole process.

Excellent service from Jess all the way through the preparations - extremely helpful and who went over and above. First class customer service! Darren on the day was exceptional and I cannot thank them enough!

After my mum pasting and a really bad experience from the so call caring co op The team from Gillman Steph Bella and Nina came to the rescue getting my mum remove from the co op and dealing with her last journey in the most caring way Could not have ask for more Maybe the co op staff should go to Gillman and learn what caring mean before putting it on tv adds

From the very beginning, Steph has been absolutely amazing. During one of the hardest times of my life, she has shown nothing but kindness, compassion, and professionalism.

From the first call, the visits to the Norbury branch and countless telephone calls - PERFECT! Beryl was the consume professional whilst demonstrating humanity and compassion. I found her to be very patient, considerate, thoughtful and thorough. She explained everything, from beginning to end and stayed in touch and chased us up to meet the vital deadlines. She did this not only to ensure that Gillman Norbury held up their side to honour Mum's funeral plan, but also because she evidently deeply cared that everything should go right for our Mum. I totally agree with Deborah Clarke, Beryl provided a lot of reassurance that Mum's body would be respected and cared for. Beryl stayed in touch with the Tooting branch as the family decided that was where we would like the hearse to leave from, she ensured they were updated and took care that every request was catered for. I also applaud Sherren, who took care of the funeral day itself, and John, our Limousine driver for the compassion patience and respect demonstrated at all times. I am so happy that Mum chose Gillman, and happy that the same person (Beryl) that helped Mum pull her plan together, was the same person that helped us and guided us through this difficult time.
