Brendan was exceptionally kind, flexible and professional while helping us navigate one of the most difficult times of our lives. He coordinated a beautiful funeral and diligently ensured that everything was seamless. Derek, the funeral director who helped on the day was so helpful in walking us through the service and did his upmost to honour our deceased family member. Thank you Gillman Funeral Service Battersea for making what could have been an incredibly difficult day much easier to get through.

Dani from Gillman’s Balham branch was absolutely incredible. We couldn’t be more grateful for the kindness, compassion and empathy she showed our family during such an incredibly difficult and emotional time. She made the whole process of arranging Dad’s funeral so much easier, organising everything with care and attention and taking away so much of the stress. Nothing was ever too much trouble, even when I changed my mind a million and one times!

Dani was always patient, understanding and reassuring, and her warmth and lovely personality genuinely helped lift our spirits. She very quickly felt less like someone helping us arrange Dad’s funeral and more like a member of the family supporting us through the process. We truly cannot thank her enough for everything she did and for helping us give Dad the farewell he deserved. She is an absolute credit to Gillman’s.

The service we received from EA Godfrey and Gillman in organising my brother's funeral was outstanding. Dani made my mum and I feel at ease from the moment we met her. She was able to answer every question we had and talked us through every option. Any question or request we made was dealt with on the same day.
Billy and the team on the day of the funeral were professional, and respectful of some last minute tribute requests from my brother's friends. It made a very difficult day for my mum and I much easier.
