Funeral Partners’ staff have been busy raising more money for St Raphael’s Hospice at the “It’s a Knockout” event which took place on 24 September.
The hospice provides care to those facing life-threatening illness living in the boroughs of Merton and Sutton. It costs around £115,000 per week to keep providing the services and the hospice relies heavily on the generosity of the local community to be able to continue providing care to those in need.
Ten Funeral Partners staff from the South West London area, including Area Development Manager Jamie Groves, tackled the inflatable obstacle course dressed as Disney characters.
Jamie not only completed the course dressed as Snow White, but he also shaved his beard, legs and armpits.
The day included children’s activities, a BBQ, craft stalls, games and a raffle, with Jamie managing to raise over £300 for the hospice.
Jamie said: “More money raised for charity and another event which brought the Funeral Partners’ teams together, it was an absolutely brilliant day”.
