Community Activities
The team from Gillman Funeral Service in Battersea provided food and drink for a community roast lunch for the residents of Abyssinia Close Retirement Housing.
They contributed a beef joint and two bottles of wine to the roast which brought all the residents together for the afternoon.
Funeral Arranger Tasha Burridge said: “I chose to help as I like the idea of being able to bring people together and share each other’s company, as in retirement housing it can be easy for residents to feel alone.
“We had a wonderful afternoon filled with interesting conversation, great food and even better company. I look forward to doing something similar in the future.”
